Dubs in the Buff came to light in 2003.  It started out as a small group of friends with one obvious similarity, their cars.  Everyone brought a love of Volkswagens and Audi’s.  Some maybe more of a love-hate relationship, if you own a Volkswagen I’m sure you understand.  The first year of Dubs in the Buff was full of great friends and an entire summer of get-togethers every weekend.  It was a strong and promising start of something none of us were aware of just how big it would become.

Over the years Dubs in the Buff kept growing.  New members were constantly joining the community and that was also evident as GTG’s became more popular.  Along the way DITB had a little identity crisis, Nickel City Euros, but I think lots of us came through with a greater love and appreciation for Dubs in the Buff.

Lots of people may say that “it’s just a website.”  Well you will find that it goes far beyond that.  Through DITB many great friendships have been made, husbands and wives have met, and the list goes on.  It is a truly great place for people with similar loves and obsessions.

To this day the community is still growing and I’m sure this summer will be the best yet.  Lots of shows to look forward to and of course lots of get togethers and cruises.  We welcome everyone to Dubs in the Buff whether you live in Western New York or across the country.  While we are a Buffalo VW Club, Audi Club, and BMW Club at heart, we have members from as far away as Washington and even Europe.  This community has no boundaries and welcomes everyone to participate.
