| Audi B3 headlights are nasty sick with pitting and fogging. I dunno if it's peculiar with the glass or whatnot. So I've been experimenting with this myself.
I haven't found the magic yet, but I've getting "better" results with 3000 grit paper. It's a green mylar paper. Then I'm taking a buff stick(the stuff you apply to a buffing wheel) and using that like a crayon over the surface. I use it lightly for a long time and it seems to get rid of the fine abrasions leftover after the sandpaper. There are many different sticks and so far I've only used the red general purpose grit.
I'ts still not as good as I'd like(not that great at all really) but I've saved one light so far. I want to try other sticks to see if they work better. |
