| This is what I do when I want to buy something but think I will have buyer's remorse. Put the money for the car somewhere. In a separate bank account, in a safe, under the mattress, whatever. Then I wait a month or two and see if I still want it. If I do then I buy it. If not then either put the money in some CD or restart the process with another thing you want. I can never decide what I want so I'm constantly going through this.
