I initially thought it was gross.

I ended up going for about 97 test drives before I picked out a white 5 sped hatch. All I need now is a sombrero.
It was just as nice as the base model golf i test drove...and I couldn't argue with 16.5 out the door.

Base golfs start at 17.6 and then tax tag and title and i'm getting 10 more mpg. Which i actually care about with the amount of driving I do around here.
