Alright some one had better real me in!!!

I started re doing the rear suspension in my e30. After 22 years it time to replace a few things. Those that know me probably are saying, WTF, that car was nice as it sat, however, perfectionism has taken over - I started ripping out stuff and I cant stop!!!!!!!!!!

Complete rear suspension is out, then I started looking around and it was like I'd have to take out all of this if I had to replace the tank.....Ripped out tank....Looked at brake lines, fuel lines, ripped out break lines and fuel lines.......

You get the picture...

So this means that I am doing :

Sandblasting and repainting or powdercoating depending on the parts everything that I have take off.

The cross member and the arms have been sandblasted and treated with rust preventive paint. New bushings installed new bearings installed.

Welded in camber and toe adjustment brackets.

New polysubframe mounts.

New parking brake cables.

Rebuild calipers and powder coat.

Replaced the reluctor rings on the cv shafts because my ABS did not work.

Re boot both cv shafts.

New brake lines and flex lines.

New fuel tank.

New 255HP Lph Fuel pump in prep for turbo/ eliminated the external fuel pump.

New Fuel lines and return lines and vapor lines.

Whew! and this is in just my first week of vacation

I hope to get this thing back together by the end of next week or the following..

Then its time for the front suspension bushings/ struts......

And I still have to freakin finish drywalling the ceiling of my workshop!!

They came off a parts car that I had, I saved the cv shafts (the shafts themselves were questionable) and removed the rings carefully, they are just pressed on. Did not want to spend $600 in CV Shafts.

However, I swear that somewhere I saw where you could just purchase the ring and for the life of me could not find in all the links that I had...
