har.

This thing is far from pretty.

But it did make it to work today with no issue!

Has IE exhaust now and another pass. front wheel bearing.
I think I might have to do the driver's side one next.

Little vibration in the wheel and when I turn right it is still there.
I turn left, it is smooth and quiet.

Oil pan plug is still dripping... :/

Lots of other little things fixed.

Did you ever change the timing belt?

They are recommended to be changed every 4-5 years and/or 50k.

My other guess would be took out a rocker, they do snap sometimes.

I'm totally betting on a rocker arm. those things happen, especially when romping on it at a track day

I pulled the valve cover at the track,
It's on #5.
Even with the lobe of the cam all the way up and the eccentric adjusted down.
There is still an 1/8 inch between the rocker and valve.
Don't know if it is a valve issue/spring issue/rocker issue.

check out the bosses that hold in the rocker shaft, could have cracked a boss and whole shaft in that area is bent up. Or you bent a valve and it is not closing down.

I think it is time to pull the head.....
