Aurora, GIAC chips for drive-by-cable cars are $300, and AFAIK, GIAC is the only tuner offering flash programming for these ECU's. The software just works, and it works well. No suppression of codes, able to set readiness monitors without cheating, and upgradable for reasonable money if you step up to a larger turbo. No socketing, no soldering, no BS. Takes about an hour.

ok one trip to the shop and the wagon will be inspected and ready for more snow on Wed. waiting for a few little parts to show up at my door.

got a n75 Race for 25% off. replace the mast antenna with shark fin fm.
still havent found a affordable lip or pan. 300 for plastic is not what i need to spend money on.
i do appreciate the helpful tips. i will get the GIAC this spring.

should i replace the DV too after the n75?
what is good that you have tried?
i dont want loud but at least to hear it at all would be ok.

Affordable and Audi in the same sentence? Ha! Good luck. There is thousands of dollars of 80 quattro sitting in my parent's driveway right now. They don't nickel and dime, the $50 and $100 you to death.

Don't get me wrong, they are great cars in their own respect, just don't expect to find things cheap and fast.
