Best scratch "removal" product?

Being that I have a black car, magical scratches just appear every other day it seems. I used to be a big fan of Meguiars Scratch-X, but that doesn't seem to get the job done on black paint.

Anyone recommend a particular product? Preferably one that is carried locally (like at Pep Boys or local shop somewhere).

Thx
