how to clean headliner

after 5 years of driving my car the light colored headliner is quite dirty just want to know the best way to go about cleaning it? no major stains to say of just lots of road grim built up while driving around with the windows down.

i vacuum mine with a dyson. it gets everything out quite nicely.

i heard of this stuff called Tuff stuff? or diluted woolite with a microfiber towel. i dont know which is better. test it out and let us know

You can't get it wet, the glue will let go and it will hang all 70's lincoln style. Only real way to clean it is with a steam cleaner covered with a towel.

You could use red hot which is a degresser on a rag and just wipe it and it will look brand new thats how we do it at my work

i use 409 on a microfiber towel then rub it with a bristled brush always looks like new.
