I'm still debating whether I should tint the a3 or not... Had 35% on the gti then switched to 20% then got a ticket so took it off and had it done 20 again but I think the 35 would be safer in terms of getting pulled over since the cops can at least see my silhouette through 35 and not 20.... Opinions anybody??

What are you getting tinted? Monte Carlo SS? Grand Am GT? 6 cyl Mustang? Cavalier Z24? non-turbo DSM? Grand Prix GTP?

Window tint is lame.

- It scratches
- It turns purple
- It makes it hard to see out of your car at night. Especially backing up.
- It makes it hard for other drivers to make eye contact, or see where you are looking.
- In most cases, it's illegal in this state.

Fill us in why it's so lame? It is one thing that provides a function unlike SIQ body kits and siqqqq wheels.

It's illegal. So is most after market parts. Most exhaust systems and so are test pipes. You might very well be able to toss CIA on that list. Also you suspension is illegal in some states, car has to sit at a certain hight and I think it's true in NYS. As long as you don't tint under 50% and you're fine.
