Local places topick up detailing supplies. - 04-30-2010, 11:34 AM

I should have ordered some stuff on line, but I found out I'm actually going to be around this weekend instead of out of town, so I was hoping to pick some stuff up.

Other than the typical parts store, Anyone have any ideas on a good local place to pick up detailing supplies?

Looking for bonnets, pads, compound etc. Maybe even a good place to pick up a buffer at a decent price.

Try a place that sells auto body paint- I am sure there is one in B-lo. NAPA has a decent selection.

Well, that's a surprise- NAPA used to carry all that stuff. Hit up a collision shop, or a dealer, and find out who their supplier is.

Seems like the internet may have eliminated the common local sources for a lot of these types of things. Wound up going with the interwebz.

I used to work in a body shop when I lived in Albany, this sort of stuff was much easier to find back then...

There is a paint shop on Transit just past Bulis Rd, its Al Wills.
I've never been in there but I would imagine they sell eveything
your looking for.
