my mains are perfect. my rod caps i guess have to be wrong. i am ordering a new set of bearings and bolts

try this buddy....... pull the pistons out and see if the crank turns......... THEN go purchasing shit if need be. It shoudl spin VERY freely w/no pistons in. enough that you can turn it w/a couple fingers on the crank counterweights.

i think i posted somewhere then it turns freely with the rod bolts slightly torqued . the whole engine is in the car complete and will not come apart anytime soon. the rod bolts at least will have to be changed now that ive untorqued them strechy bolts. and most likely i have to replace the bearing with the flipped caps. so i ordered the parts as no matter what i do now i have to have them.

YES, all 4 caps were flipped and now that i see them its OBVIOUS, i guess i shouldve gotten help from someone who pays attention...

fantastic... i hate to be in that situation... WTF did i do?!?! and have to take a step back and evaluate everything since so much has been apart so long from what it sounds.
