tis been ages since i had one ripped apart... 02A's are more work than the 02M's from what i recall and i did more work on them. the few 5spds i had apart weren't worth saving and got replaced. let me know if you still can't get this together after the weekend as i have plans unfortunately. did you rip down the main and countershafts?

put all stalks in, mini-stalk in, pin in hte spring mechanism and screw bolt into case(3rd small stalk w/1 "gear" on it), then put the little "guy"(shift selectors) on the sliding gear selectors. Allow it to sit in place so ti doesn't move, then RTV the case end and put the other side of the case on.

once the case is in place, take the 4 pins(2 top, 2 bottom) and use your hand through the selector shaft hole to carefully align them and place the pins through the bearings on the actual selector arms. You'll see when you're in there. Once you have ALL 4 in, then continue putting the rest of the bolts in.

I see you've dismantled the 5th gear selector gear.. good luck getting that working again. That shit sucks when the little teeth come out.

EDIT: 1 pic I have of 3rd small shaft in place....

oh yeah, I got the 5th gear sedlector back together after about an hour of ripping my hair out and punching the case... it turns out that you have to push the teeth in and slide the ring on from the bottom... I was kinda pissed when I figured it out lol
