With that using the Sirius is like tuning through FM radio. It's so easy. And yes Stafford I'm aware they do that but stop in, demo it in real life instead and see if you think it will be easy enough for her to use. We can give you a lifetime warranty on install as well.

The red is pretty close to the gauges in the coupe, one of the main reasons I went for it.(a little more saturated, but close enough) If you go for the one with Bluetooth, it works really works well, dialing from the receiver is a breeze.

The wheel is the part I like the least. Using it for basic radio tuning and cd functions is fine, but changing the settings, or navigating your ipod can be a bit tedious. Often, when you're supposed to press the middle of the wheel to select, it invariably seems to click left or right. If you have the chance to play around with one in person I'd recommend it.

I had sirius module in my eurovan hooked up to my sony unit. it worked great and was really easy to use through the sony unit.

I actually want to sell the unit as I dont drive the eurovan anymore. If you want it Pm me. Its a sony mex-26oobt with bluetooth, ipod control module, hd radio module and sat radio module. Id let it all go for 175.

Its great for grammy too, to operate the radio all you need to press are 3 buttons. gramma can have hd and sat radio through the head unit, and if she has an ipod she can plug that in too.

dh & super- i saw a couple of pioneers at wallyworld while picking up some fluids. i'm not a fan of the knob on the 3200. also i couldn't figure out how to tune the fm, even after 15 minutes. that one's out. i do like the knob on the DEH-12E (like the 2200), and it was easy to tune, so that series is in the running.

DEH 2200 has no option of adding Sirius or XM.

i stopped by darryl's the other day, dan, but you weren't there yet.

darryl's has about a dozen pioneer and jvc head units on the wall to play with. the jvc head units have a solid feel to them. much nicer than i expected.

underground autosound has a few of the clarion in stock. i think the jvc has a nicer interface.
