Jam, you are so right.

So I show grandma the DEH2200UB and the labels for the buttons are too small so that's out.

I would put my OE single disc in the arm rest din pocket, but it has a different connector. The wire is rectangular, my single disc is square + 2 pin.

I would put my OE six disc in the trunk, but since the arm rest is wired, the trunk is not (even though there are mount points.)

Anyone ever adapted a single disc to a six disc plug?

So, VW 6-disc DIN cd changers have dropped to $100 used. I picked one up on ebay. Popping it in the console will save me the trouble of wiring to the trunk. Now all I need is that mini pocket to finish off the install.
