Hey whats my name is Dillon I recently purchased a 98 a4 1.8t aeb and i the guy before me was a dumb ass so i,m fixing all his mistakes. Right now i,m looking for a 5 bar fpr and a new maf, and i,m just trying to learn as much as i can as i go so any info along the way would be much appreciated

a ko4-015 was bolted on 300 miles before i bought it and nothing else besides an intake and an exhuast was added. But when im driving and im in a high gear 3,4,5 and then i lay into her it will pull normal untill like 3500 and then start jerking like its not getting fuel or somthing im nto sure what is worng, any help would be much appreciated
i have a few ideas but dont want to spend the money before im sure.

as far as i know it is not tuned and i now that its not ideal to run a ko4 on oem softwear but i didnt think it would run improper but im not sure

I think that may be the cause for some of your issue. Im no motor/turbo geek but your ECU isnt designed to work with that turbo.

yeah i have herd that ass well im working on seein if i can get the ko4 file that doesnt need me to upgrade my injectors just the fpr to a 5 bar
but im working on trying to find both

I think a 4 bar fpr, injectors, and ecu flash are needed. Check the 1.8t FAQs on vortex. There is a list of things needed for a K04 to work properly.

^ word, 5 bar is more than u need. that k04 isnt going to flow that much.
