Me and my girl are re-locating to Buffalo from Syracuse at the end of August.

We are still both looking for jobs and apartments. Any suggestions?

We are going there next Friday for some interviews and to check out places.

I was referred here by another forum I use in Syracuse - FastDubs.org

Looking forward to getting to know you all!

I have a white 07 VW Jetta...had it for a year and loving it!

We are currently looking at apartment in Williamville and Cheekatowaga (sp?). We are coming this Friday to check out some apts and have a few interviews.

Can you guys recommend a good mechanic? I like to do my own work but my knowledge is pretty limited to basic maintenance.

Jason @ Blackforest on Genesee near the airport. i would say its the forum consensus of preferred independent VW/audi shop

I'm from cheektowaga. And can tell you if you in a decent neighborhood.
Stay out of these areas:
Linda lane
Union vale
Tyrunda

Those are places close to williamsville and the airport in cheektowaga. There are also a few apartment complex/streets off george urban owned by arthor mizar that are pretty crappy/ run down.

Also x2 for Jason Dale. At blackforest. He's a great guy and a excelent mechanic. He's a site sponsor here.
