Droid 2 - 08-12-2010, 12:07 PM

Anyone pull the trigger on a Droid 2 today? Thinking of making the jump from my iPhone due to coverage issues where I live.

I was contemplating buying an unlocked GSM droid2 so I can use it on AT&T. Still not sure what I'm going to do though.

Droid 2 is not worth it. If you're gonna make the jump you're better off jumping into the Droid X or Droid Incredible. Both have better processors, the droid 2 is the same processor as the droid 1 just over clocked.
P.S. I work for VZW

I got rid of my iphone 3g last week in favor of a samsung captivate. It was a bit frustrating over the weekend but I really love android now.

That's the other phone I was thinking about. If you don't mind, let me know what you think after using it for a week or two.

See id rather have the Droid 2 it has keyboard.. touch screens dont work well with my digits. I got an X today for testing and the screen is cool but all in all its the same as the D2 minus the keyboard. sure its faster but meh. The incredible is pretty much junk reminds me of a Omnia (ick). I have droid now and I see no need to upgrade to a D2 or an X yet. But to answer the OP Id stick with the iphone but i know you and you prob got the new iphone anyways.

Respect the Porkins!
