It's easier to say that cops give tickets for revenue than it is to blame yourself for breaking the law - hence the article.

12 over. The Speedo is off by 2 mph, so really I am 10 and cops know 1-10 is all the same bracket in court, so unless it's a school zone I rock 12mph over.

x...

I drive at 110% of the posted limit at a normal minimum of 5mph over. so anything below 50 mph i drive +5 or so, and then on the interstate I cruise at 7 over or so, so 72mph.

Depends on traffic. I'd go 90 if everyone around me did too. I pretty much speed anywhere where there's not a neighborhood, school zone, or other populated area. The weird thing is, I actually drive my slow beater Hondas like a maniac, and I'm easy on the GLI most of the time. No wonder I never get any tickets.

NYS needs to get up to speed on their speed limits, and fix the roads so it would be safe to post a 65 to 70 mph on the high ways around us. PA- 70 for the most part, MD 65 -70, WV 70 -75, OH 70, DE 70, DC 65-70. any one else see a trend here??

Down here where I'm at in Georgia the police allow up to 11 over, but if your caught doing more than 20 over you fall in the super speeder fine category. I try to stay about 10 over.
