you won't need it. I drive low and keep my switch box in my hand---oil pan removers are typically easy to spot.

praise the lowered.

I can't believe this is still for sale! I bought one for the TT a few months back, added (in working with Jim at DieselGeek) a modified set of the "full metal jackets) to go with it and WOULD never consider not running one again. Heard a rock hit it the other day for the first time and really feel good about the extra protection...not to mention, I noticed it stiffening up the front end a good bit too on the install

STEAL of a deal price wise... I had to buy mine used (mk1 TT plate production ended about 8 months ago...) and paid 225 shipped for it and was told it had all the hardware....and didn't...I ended up having to pay nearly the full price by the time I got the "special" hardware/bracket that was missing from it....but I wanted the protection and in the end Jim reallly helped me out with the final price plus working a deal with modding the set of metal jackets for him as well.

CHEAP insurance at 150.00!!!! and the hardware for a MKV would probably be dirt cheap to get through Jim (I believe not all can be had at the hardware store as you likely need to install a few rivnuts and he supplies those in the kit and they can't be "removed" for reinstall...there are 7 or so that have to be installed on the MKIV application...only had to do 1 on the TT though as it mounts slightly differently).

Still...amazing deal.

Joe

Yea this is a super good deal. I have abused the hell of mine on my passat, and I really mean abused. It actually has a small slice from a chunk of road. This Is a HELL of a good deal.
