Up until yesterday, we were fully diagnostic-capable on VW, Audi and Porsche. I went ahead and took the plunge last week on a comprehensive scan tool. With that said, for most makes and models, it can do about 90% of what a dealer scan tool (BMW GT1, M-B star, Volvo VADIS, etc.) does.
Our diagnostic labor rate is $85/hr, but I offer $5/hr off for forum members.
Also, it is VERY capable on Asian makes and models, but that's not the focus of our business, and there are a few other advertisers over on NYSpeed who are MUCH more familiar with them.
