Attn: Transverse 2.0T people. One time special on a turbo kit - 02-26-2008, 04:18 PM

If you're an owner of the following:
MkII 2.0 TT
A3 2.0T
MkV GTi
Please read on.

As many of you know, STaSIS has recently released a turbo upgrade kit for your car.

What this offers is 300hp/290lb.ft. at the crank.

What it includes:
State-of-the-Art Turbocharger (provided by Mahle Powertrain)
Proprietary ECU Calibration (provided by GIAC)
High-flow Fuel Injectors
STaSIS Diverter Valve
STaSIS Custom Turbo Bracing
STaSIS Silicone Hoses
All gaskets & hardware included

More details can be found here:
MTF Turbo Page

I've only recently partnered with STaSIS, and to get some business started, I'm offering a one time special to the first person who: 1) makes an appointment to get this installed and 2) secures this appointment with a deposit (details can be discussed via email or over the phone)

The cost:
Normally, the kit retails for $4999 and takes 18 hours to complete. My shop rate is normally $75/hour, which would result in a total pre-tax charge of $6349.

The first one installed in my shop will run $5500 plus tax.

I will make another post once the first kit is sold.

I'm going with STaSIS' suggested time, as I've not done one of these myself. I'm sure after I get a couple of them under my belt, I'll be charging a bit less than suggested.

the turbo is a pita to pull on a 2.0t in an A4, i did the first engine in the country 2 weeks after the launch... had to wait for them to ship an engine from germany b/c there wasn't one in the country. motor mount makes it relatively frustrating to sneak out on the 2.0t.

back on topic, awesome price and stasis is good chit'

it's considerably easier to swap the turbo on an a4. About 1/3 of the time.
