What have I done....

The Good.

-Picked it up cheap.
-VR6 = Sexy.
-The body and swap are still super clean (rust/rot/wiring) and still has a book of reciepts.
-History <3.

The Bad.

-Headliner is falling down.
-Headlights don't work...Highbeams do! (Thinking a bad headlight switch)
-Suspension steering is darty and a touch loose. (needs an alignment + Balljoints and Tierods - crappy FKs I like it tight)
-Coolant leak...(Already order billet crack pipe and goodies)
-Power Steering Leak (banghead)
-Shifter Bushings/Linkage (I won't even try to downshift into 3rd...)
-No Dash lights (At least the cluster works)
-Coolant temp sensor does not work (Wiring to the cluster? Sensor?....I got nothing)
-I think my of my interior problems are caused by who ever removed the dash and did the heater core.
-No Radio

The Ugly.
-Hood had ice fall on it. Hit the fender too.
-To my best knowledge nothing was even done about the compression on 4 and 6. (rings?)
-The interior is a god damn mess.

I love it.
Pictures of its current state tomorrow.
I can fix most off that for less than 1000 and in a weekend. (minus body work and if there is compression issues)

no way brian you picked up the socal heat?!?!?!

edit- this is what it looked like right before steve (brians brother) sold it to adam dickerson iirc. steve had it shipped from socal, hence "socal heat"

i was supposed to buy the car when adam had it for sale. he told me to hurry bc his cousin was interested in it. i went to the bank, got approved for the loan, called him and he told me he had just sold the car the day before to his cousin then i bought my fggt e30.

brian.... want an e30? trades?

this car is dope, my buddy jack was gonna buy it off adam but couldnt get the funds together in time. nice buy

as for a headliner, i have a complete one with the foam from a 89GTI in my garage. its not too messed up since some of the foam kinda broke but if you put it back in the car im sure it will look fine, no sagging or anything.

Ha. I took those pictures.
I think that was a little over 2 years ago...maybe three.
Looking forward to digging into it a little tomorrow.
