With the nice weather I'm getting into the mood of modding my car and working outside. Just today I picked up a thule rack (and bike rails) off of craigslist and put it on my car. Then I got my vintage Peugeot road bike out of my garage and threw it on the rack. Then I went into my garage, found a passat vr6 grill emblem tried to fit it on my mk3 vr6 gti (with the wrong red GTI grill badge on it for some reason) but it is too small so it didn't fit, SO i found some blue paint that kinda matches my 93 5cyl eurovan, colormatched the vr6 badge and threw it up on the eurovan.

Then after 3 red bulls I cleaned my interior, washed the car, installed a new satelite radio antenna, took off my played stickers off the back window and put a cornell univeristy sticker on the rear window. After a few more red bulls I made a false floor for the trunk and false sidewalls with a hole for a 10" sub.

So essentially I'm really in the mood of doing stuff to my car and I realized if I had ADD and drank red bulls I would beat off constantly.

Then once it was dark I went inside and wrote a little list of stuff I want to do to my car during the spring and summer. Here it is:

install oem heated seats assembly (looking for a mk3 heated seat switch, will buy)
install a 10" alpine sub in the false floor I made and cover it in carpet (need a sub)
install my equalizer in the glovebox. (need a black lower glovebox, will buy)
wire up a 5channel amp to the speakers and sub
put in new speakers
dye my abc pillars black, or buy highline pillars(good luck, but I will look)
get cabrio black sun visors(will buy)
get black passat oh sh** handles(will buy)
get a corrado black sunroof switch (good luck, I really need this, find me one)
wrap up a black headiner
reupholster my driver's seat
get wolfsburg rxII rims (willbuy)I need a cool color combo for these. thinking rline center caps off of ebay with black centers with yellow or red rims with matching red or yellow calipers (have red calipers now)
ecode headlamps
custom intake in bumper vent
clean up engine bay
re tint windows (was done like 10 years ago and theyre scratched up
black emblems
do yellow/red leather door panel inserts

Yeah its all cosmetic essentially.

BUT my question here for everyone is what are your plans for your car in the summer?

Replace valve cover and cam chain gaskets
Black headliner
Electronic boost gauge
Polish headlights

I've already installed a eurojet SMIC, silicone PCV hoses, new OEM 337 mats, 2003+ center console, and fixed my broken glovebox

I do all my modding during the winter. I do all my rebuilding during the summer.

Just sayin..you know the sub needs to be in an actual enclosure not just free air mounted to some wood...

I may have a 10" sub I'll sell.

For me:
-New wheels, going to test fit them soon.
-New suspension
-I'd like to get both bumpers resprayed but it probably won't happen

Dropped the car a bit today..put summer wheels on and a nice wash/wax

Currently sanding and preping my side skirts and front lip(reapairing divits in side skirt from previous owner drying to sand :[ )

i would love to get some new wheels..or some paint work done since my paint is shit!

Other than that modding the girlys rabbit..getting a drop and some wheels! :]
