i want some go fast parts for my 16 valve jetta gli, i need suspension, and parts to make some more power, i need a short shifter , dual round badgeless grill, just let me know about any parts you are selling or will give me

I don't have anything left but a couple of suggestions: USRT short shifter. This was THE BEST upgrade I did to my old 89 GLI 16v. It was awesome. I also installed a set of Autotech Cams (thanks Steve!) that really woke up that old 1.8. Good luck......

I had this car before the previous owners. When I sold it, it had an autotech chip, Lightened flywheel, shaved head (and if the headgasget goes again and head warps, you will have to replace the head), Techtonics tuning downpipe with Cat delete, TT Tuning exhaust. So no reason to replace the exhaust or chip on it. I tried a few different chips, it ran best with the autotech, might not be in there anymore though. I say just do a set of cams and you should be set to go.

I'd do things to the suspension like new bushings,springs/shocks and GOOD tires before I bothered with doing cams in a gli. They will make a more noticeable difference and will make the car a blast to drive. I have a set of powered gli recaros forsale if you are interested
